Despite the importance of the scientific results obtained using animal models, it is vital for researchers to be able to work on human samples from participants suffering from respiratory diseases, in order to elucidate their causes and mechanisms. This method of operation proposes a virtual bank composed of information relating to samples, which is pooled on a central server, while the samples are stored in each of the centers.
